From Colombia to Greater Boston, three decades of opening doors

Luis Tejada was born in Colombia and began his real estate career in Greater Boston in 1994. What drew him in was something he saw close to home: hard-working families, his own mother among them, who worked 60 to 80 hours a week and had good credit, yet could not buy a home because no one took the time to explain the process in a language they understood.

He set out to serve a Latino community that was growing and being overlooked, and soon found the need was even wider: many people born here also had no one to guide them to their first home. Helping buyers, sellers and investors move forward with someone they can trust became his life’s work.

To protect his clients better, Luis went beyond the license. He studied home inspection, real estate law, taxation and notarial services, worked as a mortgage broker, and today is a notary public and loan signing agent with hundreds of closings signed. He works side by side with attorneys, lenders and inspectors on every deal, and his wider knowledge keeps each transaction on course toward the goal that matters most: the keys in your hand.

Today Luis is a Greater Boston Real Estate Broker with CENTURY 21 North East in Chelsea, with 30+ years in real estate and more than 15 of them with CENTURY 21. He guides first-time buyers, families selling, investors and commercial clients in English or Spanish, from the first call to the closing table.
